Mölkky, also called Number Kubb, is a new variant of the popular game Kubb. There are very nice sets available and there are already official tournaments for Number Kubb.
What is Mölkky?
The goal of the game Möllky is to be the first to reach 50 points. You do this by knocking over the numbered posts with the throwing stick (the Möllky). The numbers on the thrown-over posts are added as score. When you have more then 50 points (by knocking down too many posts), your score becomes 25 and you have another chance to get to 50 points in your next turns.

Mölkky is a very fun game to play with children. The dynamics are very different from Kubb, but it’s just as strategic. It is a real didactic game by the way: very good to improve your kids math while playing a game! The nice thing is that you can play it with a lot of people at the same time.
